These days you can get pretty much and fruit or vegetable at most grocery stores any time of the year. But, of course, that’s not the way it was just 100 years ago much less 100,000 years ago. We ate what was in season, what was ripe and ready to eat. With a little research you can figure out what’s in season or you kind find a really cool tool on the internet that helps you do just that. Admittedly, I haven’t been eating seasonably but at least this calendar can help me eat more of what tastes good and less of the stuff that’s flown from 15,000 miles away.
